On Friday November 17th Marketing Armor had the pleasure of attending the first annual Youth Crisis Center Butterfly Luncheon as a sponsor. This event was an unveiling of YCC’s fresh new look as they switch their focus to early intervention of local families who have been impacted by trauma.
The luncheon was held at the Youth Crisis Center where attendees learned how their contributions would help YCC to provide more housing and resources to the children and young adults that are in need. The YCC also used this time to highlight their recent collaboration with Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network (JASMYN) and the continued worked they are doing with homeless LGBTQ youth. This collaboration also fits with YCC’s expanded focus on trauma, as many LGBTQ youth and young adults experience rejection from their families, peers, and society.
