Rally Prospecting was formed in Greenville, SC in 2006 to help companies with their new business development. Originally modeled as a call center and appointment setter, Rally transitioned to email automation and lead generation when it became apparent that digital prospecting was more effective than cold calling. This led to the development of its proprietary software, Prospecto, a CRM that uses firmographic data about targeted leads in order to verify their current email addresses. It creates a database for these contacts, then allows users to email them individually or en masse. In 2019, Rally Prospecting was acquired by the Orange Park-based agency Marketing Armor, and has remained its own division within the company ever since.
